TUITION AND FINANCIAL AID

Tuition
The tuition and fees structure at St. Francis is among the lowest of the private schools in our area.

2009-2010 Fees:
TUITION: $10,640
REGISTRATION: $650 plus books, and some class and athletic fees dependent upon what classes they take.

Financial Aid
Students may receive financial assistance through academic accomplishment or through need. St. Francis offers financial aid to qualified students who need assistance in meeting tuition costs. The student’s family must truly need financial aid, without which the student could not attend the school. Even so, the parents are expected to make some financial sacrifice and commitment to the school. Financial Aid Forms are distributed after a student is admitted and must be returned by mid-April. All continuing students receiving financial aid will receive renewal forms through the mail with a mid-April deadline for submitting the completed papers. All new students applying for aid must meet the 2.00 GPA minimum requirement to be eligible for consideration. Continuing students must also maintain a 2.00 GPA or forfeit eligibility for financial assistance.

Academic scholarships are awarded to the five students scoring highest in the St. Francis Placement Test. These awards range from $500 to $1,500. Grants-In-Aid are awarded to students based on financial need and availability of funds. Approximately $200,000 in financial aid and scholarships is awarded on an annual basis.

To determine eligibility, St. Francis utilizes the services of the Private School Aid Service. Students will not be considered for financial aid until after they have officially enrolled. Financial Aid Forms are available at the school and are to be completed and sent together with a copy of the parents’ Federal Income Tax Return by January 31, 2010. Families whose applications are postmarked after the established deadline may not receive financial aid. Financial packages must be mailed to:
