2007 SEASON PREVIEW

There are a lot of new faces involved with our 2007 Cross-Country program. Several key members of last year's successful season have moved on to the college ranks, but we are optimistic that we have the personnel to replace them. Probably our most important new addition is co-Head Coach Patrick Donovan, who is hoping to prove that Thomas Wolfe was wrong when he wrote "You Can't Go Home Again". After establishing himself as one of the best Cross-Country runners in St. Francis history, he went on to have an extremely successful collegiate career where he earned All-American honors twice. The Knight harriers are very happy to have a coach of this caliber to train with. It is unlike Coach McNulty to refrain from making bold predictions, but he is adopting a "wait and see" attitude. We have a solid bunch of Seniors and if we get some help from our underclassmen, we can be every bit as successful as last years squad.
